I didn’t realize that this video Converter Factory has so many features with $34.95 only. The name of this product makes me feel it is a video converter, cause one software solves one problem in my mind.

After the investigation to Wonderfox, I now see. It is a Chinese software company, which is developing software for world. It is a convention to name the product with its top priority keywords for better SEO ranking.

And now the review starts.

After the installation, HD Video Converter Factory Pro asks you to enter a license, otherwise you have to use the limited features only. It is acceptable for a commercial software.

Video Downloader

Cause I don’t have a video, so I have to download one for testing at first. The review of HD Video Converter Factory Pro starts from Video Download.

I noticed that you can download audio in this video. In this way, you will have free music if the video is a music MTV video. Even though the format is not MP3, maybe we can convert it to MP3 later? Of course this audio shall be worse that the official music. For a ringtone, not bad.

When you are downloading videos, you can only get this UI of software. I can’t turn back to main interface for more tasks, for example , add a new video for downloading, while the present download is running. If you quit the present UI, all downloads will disappear. So do not quit this UI before all downloads are finished. This is rather bad. And there may be a bug: after finish the download task, and when you want to close the window, it tells you that there are download items in list.

HD Video Converter Factory Pro can download videos or audio from Youtube, Vimeo, etc. However, it doesn’t mention video downloadable from Tiktok. I just had a test, it supports Tiktok video download.

Notice: I don’t recommend you to download any videos from Youtube, Vimeo, Tiktok, etc. Every video on those platforms has copyright. Re-editing or spreading (not the original shared URL on those platforms) copyright videos is illegal action.

Pros

Cons

• The quality doesn’t reduce or increase the size of converted video, only resolution can. I don’t know if it is the video that downloaded from Youtube, and Youtube has compressed video enough. So HD Video Converter Factory Pro can’t compress any more under original resolution.
• The interaction of converting confuse the users who use it at first time. But it won’t again in future.

Video Recorder

I’ve used a lot of screen recorders or video recorders. Most of them have little difference in features. HD Video Converter Factory Pro offers full screen and custom recording.

About the Custom recording, you can drag a recording area, and everything that recorded will be the items and actions in this area. And if you don’t want to drag, move your mouse onto any window, the custom area will automatically circle around the window. That is very convenient.
