This article teaches you how to enable or disable “Show recently added apps” in Windows 11. Follow the tutorial, you will learn the way to enable or disable “Show recently added apps” in Windows 11.
The feature “Show recently added apps” of Windows 11 is located at Start menu. Usually it is used for people who just installed a new application. In most cases, once users installed a new software, they would like to run this software immediately. Most of software has option to start itself after the installation, while some of them don’t.
So at this time, if you can use “Show recently added apps” to get your just-installed apps, that is very convenient. But for me, I don’t use it to get my installed application. Cause check the applications in list still needs time. What I do is just press Win key to call the Start menu, and then type the keywords in software name of the target, press enter to call it. This is the best way to save time.
Enable or disable “show recently added apps” Tutorial
Open Windows 11 Settings, “Personalization” – “Start”
This option is enabled as default. For me, I don’t care about if it is enabled or disabled. Doesn’t matter, cause I always type the keyword of software name which I wish to run. Much faster than any other actions.
